Faculty

The faculty bring the following strengths to the program:

• Faculty members provide many opportunities for students to work on real-world projects in the classroom.
• IE faculty and students know each other by name; there is a high level of interaction.
• All faculty members have achieved registration as Professional Engineers.
• All faculty members have PhD's in industrial engineering from leading programs in the US or significant industry experience.
• The faculty are recognized leaders in national and international service activities, including recent service as:
  - Judge for the Association for Computing Machinery World Programming Contest Finals,
  - Editor of Computers in Education
  - Editorial board member of Journal of Industrial Engineering Design,
  - Society of Manufacturing Engineers Fellow,
  - Industrial engineering program evaluators for the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET),
• The faculty have published their research in leading journals including IIE Transactions, International Journal of Production Research, and International Journal of Industrial Ergonomics.
